Having almost 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry leads to extensive knowledge and expertise in various aspects of broadcasting, such as production, technical operations and management.

 

Throughout my career, I have held different roles and responsibilities. This covers the range from working as freelance and permanent employee to being engaged as managing director and owner of a SI company, offering service & consulting, system design & system integration, equipment rental & operation as well as being developer and manufacturer of professional broadcast displays. 

 

This extensive experience contributes to my deep understanding of the industry's dynamics, trends and challenges. Being active in this business since such a long time, I have witnessed and adapted to numerous technological advancements and changes in the broadcast industry.

 

As a project owner I was in charge of building the first 24 camera OB truck fully supporting uncompressed HD and UHD HDR signals using SMPTE 2110 IP standard. Thus, I was involved from the very beginning in the challenging transition from baseband to IP infrastructure.
